for the programming of the ABB 800xA systems, with
7 years experience of configuring / upgrading the
800xA QCS software">
Latest work:
1. Interfacing Network Platform scanners / sensors with 1180 systems.
2. Adding Coat Weight measurement & control to an existing 800xA system.
3. AC800M Profibus communication with Siemens S7.
Listed is a summary of the major work carried out on the 800xA Systems.
- Configured and upgraded over 25 systems,
ranging from small (2 Servers & 1 Client) to very large systems
(8 Servers & 3 Client Servers) with up to 5 frames,
20 sensors, 8 CD controls & 8 MD controls.
- Coater application software for 800xA systems.
Including different coating blade types, Coat Weight
& Moisture MD & CD controls, Startup Control, Special
Coater production reporting, Flying Splice Logic.
- Automatic Calibrate Sample. If the scanner is in Single Point
before reel turn up, the Calibrate Sample is performed
by special sequencing.
- AC800M Profibus data transfer to/from Siemens S7
- OPC Server interface to 3rd party systems. Separate OPC Server
used to isolate 3rd party system from the Connectivity Server.
- Comli communication from AC800M to 1180 systems.
- Special Excel QCS production reports.
